Celebratory Cards

This one is on ivory pearlescent card the one below is on pale grey pearlescent card – unfortunately the difference is difficult to see in the photograph

The squares used for the letter were cut out by hand – no die cut machine was used!!!

My lastest creations

I was asked to make a card for someone who works with Joe it had to have some thing to do with Everton & computing combined. I found this really difficult as football doesn’t sit naturally with computing. Si I made 2

My favourite is the one with Onion on showing Goodison Park and the insert has a small PC on it.

The second has a stamped image on that I did ages ago. It was borrowed from a fellow Derby Dabbler when we used to meet at Chellaston on a Sunday for a ‘Stamping Sunday’ . I think it might have been one of my very first attempts at stamping!!

Whilst doing these cards I had to go to the Everton FC web site so I learn’t a bit about about the club. Did you know that they are sometimes referred to as the ‘Toffees’.

Visiting the war graves at Bayeux Normandie with the Cathedral in the background. This is the second time I have been here and it is a very moving experience – especially as all these service men were all some bodies son/daughter & it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
