Crich Tramway Museum

IMG_1455

BH weekend Joe & I had a lovely ‘chillaxing’ week end away at the Firs Caravan Club site just outside Belper – a site I can highly recommend.  From our front window we had beautiful views over the Derwent Valley.

On Sunday Matthew Nicola Cameron and Emily joined us for the afternoon and despite the very wet weather we had a great time at Crich Tramway Museum.

Cameron who is fanatic about Thomas the tank engine thought he was at ‘Toby World’ .  He loved riding on the Trams and we were all lucky enough to see Traction engines and many vintage vehicles all of which Cameron and Emily loved

It was a lovely day the last time I went was with my Mum – just the two of us a few years ago.  But when Matt and Samantha was little we would often go with my Mum & Dad as they both loved this sort of thing.

So it was like history repeating itself.  It also brought back memories  of happy times with my Mum, Dad, Joe and the children when the were small
