Voting Day is over and done with but for how long . . . . . . . .

Well the weekend looms again and the weather looks good – my chest infection is getting better although I’m still coughing fit to burst lol on occasions.

Hopefully we all voted yesterday and although I’ve not listened much to the news this morning it seems that neither major party has a majority so I wonder what the future will bring?

Had I been born in the 1900’s I hope that I’d have been courageous enough to have been a Suffragette, campaigning  for women’s suffrage. http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/suffragettes.htm

My late father was a very political ‘animal’ supported very much by my mother.  I had installed in me from a very early age by both my parents the notion of social justice.

On a lighter note this is another of my alternative cards I have made recently using Penny Black stamp and DCWV papers.

Well I hope you all have a very good weekend, what ever you are doing & that all my crafty friends have a great time at Dabblers tonight.  I’m looking forward to a lovely weekend.
