Sunny Sunday

It is ages since I posted any cards but life has been sooooooooo busy here as it is only 14 days to ‘the wedding’ that is to say our only daughter and her fiancé Ash.  Still have order of services to do. Friday night was Samantha’s hen night in Derby and Saturday Ashley.  Samantha’s was at Zizi’s (wonderful meal) and those under 30 went into town ‘pubbiing’ and clubbing afterwards and all arrived home safe and sound if tho’ in the early hours of the morning!!! lol Ash’s was starting off a New Orleans and progressing into the pubs of town what they did after 23:00 I don’t know as I had a call from Joe just after 23:15 to say he’d put Reg (Ash’s dad) on the train and could I pick him up at the train station.  I did say they I felt Ash’s dad who is older than Joe was probably quite capable of putting himself on the train – but Joe insisted on helping him.  They did however go to the Dolphin Pub which Joe said they could talk in as the others he was taken too were very noisy!!! I think that probably is a sing of his age lol.  But a good time was had by all on both nights

Whilst Joe was out I mowed the lawn chopped a orange buddleia back as it grows like a triffid every year

Recent work shop cards I did a work shop just over a week ago and these 2 cards were one of the choices that could be made – they are just very slight variations between them.    All the ladies present had a great time

The main colours are whisper white apricot appeal sage shadow and the stamp set Simply Said.

I have actually made variations of this card with other colours and it look gorgeous all colour ways
