Christmas in August

Well it looks as though it’s going to be a nice day here in Derby the sky is blue and there are only a few clouds in the sky.  I shall be off to work in a bit but not before I’ve had several cups of coffee!!!!!

Looking at different blogs  Christmas in July workshops seem popular so  I thought I’d be different & did Christmas in August!!

I did a workshop on the 2nd August for 7 crafters.  It was an exellent night the ladies love using the stamp set and making the cards and having a good chat with each other about their hobby and the recent cards they’d been making & what else they could make with the stamps sets we’d used.

The card below was made using the soft holly wheel and the sentiment from  Silent Night  stamp set, old olive ink,  old olive and very vanilla card stock and real red 1/4” grosgrain ribbon.

I also did one to show different colour usage rich razzleberry  & very vanilla card stock and razzleberry  ribbon

The second card was made using Season of Joy stamp set real red and whisper white card stock, real red ribbon and either ruby red or real red ink.  Both cards were variation on a cards that I’d made at Tracey’s last year.  http://derbyshireducks.blogspot.com

Good morning Lesley, you were quick off the mark with your lovely comment on my card, I had only just uploaded it! How do I find the time? I don't bother doing much else :o)
I love you Christmas cards, especially the holly ones in both colourways :o)
