Well since I’ve been back from my holiday in France life has been very hectic. Last weekend Joe and I went off to Plymouth for a Royal Naval Hospital reunion. They happen every 2 years which is just as well as it take me ages to recover from them. I can no longer party like I used to The late nights are killer and each time I tell myself I’m going to go to bed early, but I get talking and that is it. The venue is the Holiday Inn on the Hoe which is a great location. At breakfast you can sit in the Penthouse restaurant looking out at magnificent views of the Hoe & you can walk there and to the Barbican in minutes.
I have told Joe that when we go to the next one in 2012 we will travel back on the Monday as travelling back Sunday after not getting to bed until 3am is a ‘killer’.
But it was great catching up with old friends and comrades some of whom I’ve not seen for years. Friday night before we started partying we met up with Sue and her husband Glenn for a meal and lots of chatting at Morgan's a few minutes walk from the Hoe. We had a lovely meal and Sue and I shared a great bottle of rose too. I will post some pics when I down load them onto my PC.
Prior to France I needed some anniversary cards – so I decided to use some bold bright card stock (now retired) and the extra large two-step bird punch from Stampin' Up!®. and below are the cards I made.
above Oliver aged 7 months.
Well the weekend is upon us and I hope you all have a great one
best wishes
