Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it’s so cold!!!!

Well I’m a little more organised and I keep telling myself it’s only 2 days !!!   But some how we can’t help ourselves from thinking we have to get enough food in for a siege!!!.  Joe now has a list to work to so all the things that need doing get done.  His memory isn’t good :) as I’m working right up to 6m Christmas Eve.

I’ve been on a quest for sausage meat as it’s tradition carried on from my mother in  our house to have a sausage meat roast along with our turkey.  We don’t have pigs in blankets in our house.  The kids all now grown up with husbands and wives love it too.  I was lucky enough to  find that Bluebells at Spondon now stock it as my usual source no longer sells to the public :(  so Joe is off to pick it up Wednesday.

I finally finished my Christmas cards yesterday and Joe has been off delivering the local ones today.  In a bit I’m going to do my bit of wrapping up.  Up til now Joe has been a star and wrapped up presents as we’ve gone along – but I don’t think I can ask him to wrap his own!!!!

I’m having my hair done Thursday which I’m looking forward to always feel good after having my hair done.

Emily’s Christmas card.

I’m hoping the snow misses Derby but even I’ve been cold on occasions during these cold spells.

Merry Christmas to you all!!

It sounds like you have everything organised for Santas visit. Lovely to catch up with you on Saturday and I think another trip to bluebells after Christmas is a must.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. Have a lovely time

I like to make sausage rolls but, like you, I often have trouble finding sausage meat. What I do is to buy decent quality sausages and squeeze the sausage meat out of the skins. Your little angel card is sweet and will go down very well I'm sure! Have a happy Christmas!
