All at sea!!

What a dreary day it has been today – raining then a bit of sun then rain again.  No good for getting anything done in the garden.  We wanted to cut the hawthorn hedge at the bottom of the garden & also the grass but it was not to be with the weather as it is!!

Well I was up at 6 this morning when a little man came and told me it was morning – you guessed it was Cameron – he had a sleep over last night as his mum & dad were going out.

We went up in the loft this morning & bought some toys down that used to be his Dad’s, pirate lego, constructs & a wooden type meccano.  Cameron Joe and I  had loads of fun making & doing.

This afternoon on my way to his house to drop him off we went to see Sam & Ash and then  to Bluebells for an ice cream with his Auntie Sam.  The weather was atrocious again raining ‘cats & dogs’ between sunny spells – still Cameron managed to have a short play on the swings and slides

Here is a  card that I made using the Sail Away stamp from Stampin' Up!®  mini catalogue.

I really  like this stamp as it is just the ticket for bloke cards

Well it’s raining again.  Joe has been watching for gold all afternoon – boring boring boring lol

Well hope everyone had a good weekend – roll on the next one

Hi Lesley
Love the card. It's been wet & windy over here too. Just been outside and it is freezing!
Like you say roll on the next 3 weeks ;-)

Lesley, this is so pretty! Love the cross stitching and those brads with it too. Lovely image and a wonderful card.
So sorry you're having such horrid weather. We're just hot, hot, and HOTTER here in Texas...already up to 99 and it's not even 1:00 p.m. yet.
Even with all the rain you're having, hope you have a great day.

Fab card Lesley, I love it. Of course the weather had to change because I am on holiday this week!!!!!!!!!!, Never mind, at least it will make me get some painting done here instead of gallivanting :o)

Love that stamp too and I like the twine embellishing. I don't know what's happened to this weather but we could definitely do with some sunshine soon!
