It’s over 2 weeks since I posted. Life has been so busy since we visited Leeds when I think back I can’t recount everything that has happened it must be my age!!! 
It my friend Elaine who relocated to Australia 5 years ago has a birthday today along with my friend Pam from Dabblers who also has a birthday today

I’ve had 3 work functions one at the Wonky Table of Sadler Gate where the food was superb, a party night at Horsley Lodge & a lunchtime meal at the Dove Cote restaurant at Morley Hayes all in the space of 10 days phew!!!!
Last Sunday we had a family get together for a family roast a nice bit of roast pork with all the trimmings – as us 3 girls are following Slimming world there was no crackling sadly 
.
We haven’t put our Christmas tree up hope we can do it soon otherwise there won’t be much point because as soon as we put it up it will be time to take it down!!!!

Yesterday Sam and I spent some time together shopping in Derby it wasn’t intensive shopping just browsing & looking for some stocking fillers.
Joe and I are off to see Lionel Ritchie tonight at Nottingham and prior to the concert we are going to have a ‘pre theatre meal’ at French Living a family owned brasserie in a French provincial town...Nottingham! which serves brilliant food & where I almost feel I’m on my holidays again!!!
Must go as hoping to clean through so that tomorrow we can put the Christmas tree up
