A couple of weekends ago Oliver my youngest grandson cam to stay for the weekend whilst his mum and dad has a weekend away for their Anniversary. Hence the card below.

On the Sunday we all went off to Twycross Zoo Joe Oliver and myself. It was freezing cold, I’ve not known it so cold for ages and we even had a few flurries of snow whilst we were there. But like the true Brits we are we suffered the cold and wondered around. Although Oliver’s hands were cold – he initially didn’t want to wear gloves but soon realised they’d keep his hands warm so succumbed to wearing them. To keep warm we had to keep going back to the main restaurant area to warm up with cups of coffee.
He loved seeing the animals as he’s only ever been to the Zoo when he was much younger.

Sadly we only managed one photo on my camera as the batteries went flat so the rest were taken on our mobiles!!! I’ve just managed to move a photo from FB to my blog taken on the train ride!!!
Oliver was very exited about going on the train and we were lucky enough 2 rides on the train which Oliver loved.

A very pretty card Lesley and lovely photographs of Oliver. I used to trek around, camera in hand, no matter how cold it was but I am beginning to feel it more nowadays, am I getting old? :o)
