Wonderful Wednesday . . . . . . .

Thank you Maz for leaving a comment unfortunately I can’t reply as you didn’t leave me an e-mail address, hopefully you will pop back to read my blog & this message.

Well the good weather didn’t last, although today I don’t think it could make up it’s mind weather rain or shine!!!

Below are a couple of cards I made following inspiration form a very talented Sue (a fellow SU demonstrator)

It was my first time a sponging and I was well pleased with the affect.

Sadly my Aunt died recently at the age of 96 following a short illness.  She was my late mothers middle sister who lived in Sydney Australia.  She travelled their at the age of  with her Mum and older sister in 1921 on the SS Benalla.  Their father having died in the UK Flu epidemic in 1918.  I met her on several occasions and I can only describe as being of pioneering nature.  I’m quite sad as I was hoping to see her again when we visit Australia next year.

These sympathy cards I made for 2 of my cousins.
