It was a bit cooler today which was great as yesterday was just soooooooooo hot, a bit too hot for me and Friday was only slightly cooler.
We had 2 very lovely relaxing weeks in France. I discovered the most amazing macaroons at the local Boulangerie in Montjean sur Loire, thank goodness we weren’t there for longer because they were very moreish!! and I felt compelled to buy one when I visited the shop!!!
This is the card I made for Joe for his birthday, it’s very similar to one that we made when I went with friends to Witch Craft in Doncaster several weeks ago, the sentiments are Woodware ones and I really like them!!
Well it is just a week since we’ve arrived back from France, and the week has been busy. I’ve had a GP’s appointment, one at the hospital and another one for work. Joe celebrated his 64th birthday on July 8th and the family came round to celebrate it with him and we’ve had a bit of a BBQ this afternoon. I made a Red Velvet cake unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of it before we cut it!!

The macaroon looks good! But then so does your card. Love that sentiment! A big happy birthday to your husband too!
