Abstract Christmas Tree

Well I can honestly say that this is the most miserable Saturday for a long time - raining all say so far.

Yesterday Joe and I went to Meynall Garden Centre for lunch and the plan was to go to Kedleston Hall afterwards.  Lunch was lovely, I only found this place a couple of weeks ago. But we never made Kedleston except to drive through it as it's closed on Fridays :) But I did buy a Calafornia Lilac shrub.  We used to have one years ago which was gorgeous - we bought it from Cotehele House a NT property in Cornwall back in the late 1970's.  and it grew at the back of the garage for many years and then suddenly one year it died.  I saw them a couple of weeks ago when I met my freind their for lunch but didn't buy it then though.

I have seen many cards where crafters have used a solid stamp to create a picture and I saw something like this on Pintrest and thought I would have a try at making one of my own. I've matted the image onto embossed mirri card to make the image 'pop' a bit & I've used some green frantage to give it a bit of bling.

Lets hope the weather improves tomorrow
