Fabulous craft retreat weekend!

I was very lucky to be able to go on yet another craft retreat weekend to Peterborough on Friday returning yesterday evening. My poor Joe did miss me though!!

Before we arrived at Sir Stampalot Pam, Elizabeth & I made a few wrong turns, we went down the M1 rather than go through Kegworth, Stamford,  Oakham and passing by Rutland water.  So I think we should rename oursleves as 'Ladies on Tour'.  But we did see some amazing countryside and visited some fantastic crafting establishments plus stopped for coffee and lunch.  I also managed to bag a few bargains on the way!!

Our classes started Friday evening but for some reason I've not take pictures of the card from Friday.
We made a beautiful box album Saturday which I will photograph and post later in the week.

Our class  yesterday morning was this card using a house mouse image that was water coloured with distress markers under the guidance of crafty Lou.

We then went off to the local Chinese for lunch be fore returning for a further afternoon of crafting.

After lunch under the guidance of Chris we made yet another beautiful card.

I love both of these cards!!

A substantial part of today was spent at the local hospital sorting our my future meds for my arthritis although it took a long time I'm hoping to reap the benefit from the new regime although it may take several weeks before I notice any change.

The weather was foggy today although it wasn't too bad driving to the hospital & back and visibility wasn't as bad a predicted in my opinion.

BOTH are so pretty Lesley! Of course I love the little House Mouse card and that great design you used too. The cake on the second card looks good enough to eat! Two fabulous cards.
