Last week I was on holiday. I did a bit of Christmas shopping with my daughter which was lovely as we don't get much time together these days.
Wednesday saw us head to Nottingham for an overnight stay as we'd booked to see Simply Red in concert. We had lunch at a little independant French restaurant called French Living followed by an hour or 2 of Christmas shopping. After checking in at the hotel we then headed off for the Arena around 5pm. The show was fabulous bought so many memories back to us both and the music was the same as if we'd been listening to a CD, the sound quality was superb.
Thought I would share with you a couple of birthday cards I sent to friends this week
Tomorrow I'm off to the Derby Dabblers Drifters fuddle with Pam and Mrs C
