Recent trip to Blaye . . .
Joe and I recently visited the Citadel on the Gironde estuary at Blaye. The day was warm & sunny to begin with and then just after lunch a big grey cloud descended followed by torrential rain & a bit of thunder and lightening thrown in for good measure!! We had de decided just before the rain to nip into the museum. After we emerged blue skies and sunny and warm, we therefore continued our walk around the Citadel.
