Wednesday already!!! I have had a busy week travelling around Derbyshire. Monday I was at Long Eaton, Tuesday at Matlock and today at Bakewell. The weather was very cold in Bakewell brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It snowed several times and at one point just before lunch there was a blizzard, thought I might have to find a B & B at 1 point for the night!! lol I was at the Agricultural centre which was very nice and warm. There was also a very nice cafe there, where I had a bacon cob for lunch. I can’t remember whether there was 3 or 4 large rashers of bacon in it. It was certainly value for money. I was going to slip out during lunch time to buy a Bakewell pudding and then I thought of my waistline and didn’t. I don’t like Bakewell tarts but I just love Bakewell puddings. There is also a deli there that sell pork pie with stilton cheese – i didn’t buy one of those either for the same reason :) I’d forgotton how lovely it is to travel along the A6 along the Derwent Valley and it was quite a relaxing way to start the day off.

Very smart card Lesley, love the colour combo.
Sounds like you have been having a whale of a time!
I drove to work in a blizzard yesterday afternoon then when I finished at 9.30pm I had to scrape the frozen snow off the car to come home! :o)
