‘Down in the dumps’

Well this chest infection has put pay to my weekend away in the caravan at Sutton on Sea.  I feel so awful that the thought of going away just filled me with dread.  The coughing fits are the worst & get me down as they seem to go on for an age.

I was so looking forward to our 4 days at Sutton on Sea.  Walking along the sea front to Mablethorpe and Anderby Creek.  Fish an chops on the first night from Waldo’s.  We were meeting up with friends at a tea/beer garden Saturday lunch going to Poplar Farm for lunch on Sunday.

I did have a nice chat to Alyson yesterday afternoon for a short while when I was on face book which really cheered me up.  But in the main I feel listless and exhausted.

The card below is my second attempt at using a wheel.   the wheel is It’s beautiful and the stamps set is A beautiful thing.  I’ve used so safron, ruby red and old olive card stock, old olive ribbon, whisper white ink and crystal effects.    I’m really impressed with the card.

Well I can’t say that I’m going to have great BH weekend as I feel like I am in isolation as the grand children can’t visit as I would be so upset if they got this infection.  I’ve told Samantha to stay away too as she is only SSP if she is off sick.  I hope Joe doesn’t get it as at his age goodness knows how it will affect him.

But I have watched lots of TV though,  Hercule Poirot,  Midsommer Murders, Red Dahlia to name just a few.

Well hope everyone who looks at my blog is well and has a great weekend
