Summer Days

What a lovely day yesterday was and it looks as though it is going to be a nice day today.  Yesterday to buy some shoes for Samantha’s wedding – they’ve had to order them as my feet are a wide fit :) and then I’m going to have to have them dyed to match my outfit! I then accompanied Samantha to the Church as she had an appointment with the Vicar to discuss the wedding details for her and Ash.  We then had a lovely lunch at Bluebells on Locko Road as you come out of Spondon and we then went to Crow Wood Farm to pick up some BBQ supplies.  I then sat in the garden for a short while and later in the afternoon we went to Matt and Nicola’s and sat in the garden watching and playing with Emily & Cameron and I also had some quality time with Oliver as because of my chest infection I feel I have missed time with him.  But he smiled and laughed at me yesterday which made my day!

The Trendy Tree card I feel fits into the mood of the day as the sun is shining it’s lovely and cool in the conservatory as I’m posting and the colours are bright and add to the mood.

I was at  Dabblers on Friday at Arena Ilkeston and although it was hot we opened the windows and the doors to get a through draft of air.  It was a great night chatting and catching up.  I also completed 2 cards which I will post at a later date.  I’m now getting more organised – rather than take my heavy wheeled craft trolley – the last 2 times I’ve gone I used one of those hessian bags with what I need in it and my ‘tool’ tote – travelling lighter is the way forward lol and kinder on the back!!!!

Well hope you all have a lovely day

Lesley

Lovely card - one of my favourite stamp sets. Did you stroke the goats. I fell in love with those goats when we went to Bluebells.
