Wedding Card

Joe and I were invited to the evening reception of of friends daughter, Laura and Pete who got married on Saturday September 18th at Morley Hayes, sadly we were still in France.  But I’d seen a fantastic card on a blog that I follow, inspired by this decided to do my own version of it.  So thank you Julie.

I used Stampin' Up!®. Bridesmaid papers, whisper white, black and very vanilla card stock and the flourish from the Vintage Vogue stamp set.  SU The heart punch that was on offer at the beginning of the year.   The sentiment & pearls were from my stash.  The Bridesmaid papers are no longer available which is a shame as they are gorgeous.

I loved this card I was sad I had to use it (U just wanted to look  at it how sad is that) but I will be making some more of this card in the future as I loved it so much – everything about it was crisp.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend

It was good to see you today it seems ages since I last saw you. I love this card and I know what you mean about not wanting to give them away after making such an effort on them but it's silly really as we make them to give people don't we? Plus the cards you have made using the Tart and Tangy set makes me want it even more. Hope to see you again soon, love Anne x

Fab! The heart is a great idea - and the black is stunning against that paper.
