Exhausted but happy !!! :)

Well yesterday was a busy day for me not much time to do anything until the evening!!!  Emily and Cameron came Saturday night for a sleep over as there mum and dad along with Samantha and Ashely were going to have a painting day at the the bungalow to smarten it up before I put it up for sale.  So Joe and I had the grandchildren and Matt and Nicola dropped Oliver now 7 months old off in the morning.  Cameron woke at 5:30 am closely followed by Emily so the action packed day began!!!  :)  By 10am we’d  baked fairy cakes & made chocolate brownies – from a mix but both Emily and Cameron enjoyed baking, even better they enjoyed eating the cakes they’d baked.  The parents came in the morning just as the brownies came out of the oven and before they were even cold they were tucking into them!!!!

It was then off to the shops and the park – it had not long rained so they could only use the swings as I’d forgotten to take a towel to wipe the slide down but as as compensation we walked by the small brook to the shops and played Pooh sticks on the bridge having collected handfuls of stick on the way.  They were all picked up around 5 and they’d had a productive day painting!!!  They are so much quicker that Joe and I would have been must be because they are all way younger than us!!!!!

A recent Christmas card made using old olive real red & very vanilla card stock,  and the stamp set from Autumn Days and the sentiment from winter post stamps set.

today is much quieter a later rise to the day, washing on the line as the day is bright and sunny although cold – lots of frost on the car this morning.  I got some prep work for a workshop today for next week and things to organise for the Paper Max Show next Sunday 31st Ocotober

best wishes

Lovely card!
Can You give me some advise where can I buy some clear stamps and Glossy Accents in Derby? I'll be very thankful.

Lesley another stunner. Glad you had a good, even if tiring time, with the family.
