Gifted Easel Card

I did a workshop last Thursday for a group of 6 ladies in the morning and 7 in the afternoon.  It was a great day we started just before 11am as I requested that we observed the 2 minute silence as it was Armistice Day.  We then started to make the cards.  This is one of the cards that the ladies made, an easel card.  The workshop was really relaxed and the ladies all bought there own sandwiches.  The hostess Doreen was great she provided me with some lunch,  a roll & some wonderful tasting cheeses that she had bought whilst as the NEC the week before.  The cheeses were very tasty.  Many thanks Doreen.

The base card is naturals ivory, the other card stock used was pear pizzazz, very vanilla and riding hood red.  The stamp set was Gifted and the Christmas tree from Contempo Christmas was used for the back ground
The inks used were wild wasabi and riding hood red.  The ribbon  was Riding hood red 11/4” striped grosgrain which is currently an exclusive gift when you buy one of the bundles from ‘Bundle up for Christmas’ from Stampin' Up!®

This is a side view of the card made as you can see the scallop trim border punch was used on the base and on the Riding hood red card stock.
