Well the week has been going well and the weather has been fine – I’ve been doing lots of relaxing, catching up and crafting & of course spending time with my lovely husband.
It was Nicola’s birthday on the 29th February and this was the card I made for her. We celebrated her Leap Year birthday with all the families gathering at the Ghurkha Restaurant at Spondon for a wonderful curry. As we were leaving the we got chatting to the proprietor and discovered that he had spent 15 years in the Ghurkha Regiment of the English Army. The meal was lovely and I can recommend it and the company great.
We will now have to wait another 4 years until Nicola’s next true birthday!!
Well TTFN and thanks for reading my blog and leaving a comment
Enjoy your week

Hi Lesley....thanks for your lovely comments over my way. It is a two hour plane flight south of Cairns to Brisbane or 1700km from Cairns to Brisbane. Gordonvale is 40km South of Cairns. Hope this helps with your bearings. :-)
