Flowery Motor Home

We have recently had solar panels fitted and I’m obsessed with looking at the monitor to see if we are using solar power.  I’m sure the novelty will wear off soon.   In fact it produces KW even if it’s dull albeit perhaps only .5 of a KW.  I find it quite fascinating that on a sunny day that one can use the washing machine on solar energy.  The kettle does however require a top up of  power from the grid as well as solar power – but in the day the computer, fridges, freezer TV etc..

birthday card made for Mark’s 60th birthday using the Cricut for the motor home image – colours not quite navy, night of navy, naturals ivory mirri card.  I wanted to brighten the card up a bit & the flowers hark back to the days when Mark used to be a bit of a ‘hippy’

Fabulous card Lesley. I didn't realise that you still have to use the normal electricity as well as your solar panels! :o)

It's really interesting to hear about solar panels from someone that's had them fitted. I love the card - it's a really personal to your friend with the motor home and I like the flowers. Really enjoyed your holiday photos too. Vicky x
