Well what a last 24 hours in France we have had. It started to rain as we made our way to Bayeaux and from the moment we arrived in Normandie it rained non stop!! This morning it was still raining when to got up to make our way to the Ferry Port at Ouisthrem. It's not much fun hitching the caravan up in the rain. unfortunately Normandie is renouned for its wet weather!!!
However one of the positives of the early morning ferry is the breakfast in the Deauville silver service restaurant.
Now I'm on my way home I'm really looking forward to seeing what Samantha and Ash have done in their new home during the last 2 weeks and to seeing the grandchildren and their parents.

Good morning Lesley, I presume that you are either home by now or getting close. One thing about leaving in the rain as that it isn't so hard as leaving glorious weather behind :o)
