Phew!!!!

My feet have finally landed on terra firma after a very hectic month.  After returning from France 2 days back at work and then it was off to Plymouth for 4 nights!!!

I love this picture of the Hoe in Plymouth.  It's a very nostalgic place full of so many happy memories.  The first weekend in October Joe and I and our good friends returned to Plymouth for the 10th Royal Naval Hospital Plymouth reunion.  They are held ever 2 years and are attended by 200 -300 over the Friday and Saturday night.  Elaine and husband who we stayed with on our trip to Australia flew over for 2 weeks to attend.   It's great catching up with ex Naval Nurses with whom I worked with between 1975-1981.  Our break in Plymouth is getting longer as we get older lol.  We used to go for 2 nights, it then went to 3 and this year we did 4 nights, which made the weekend less tiring :) .

We arrived Thursday around 3pm it was a lovely warm sunny day so it was off to The Hoe for a coffee at our favourite cafė followed by a walk along the Hoe down to the Barbican.

Thursday at the Ship Inn on the Barbican for dinner.

The 4 of us all dressed up for the Saturday night dinning and 70's disco.

Later in the evening a bride and her party arrived can to join us as apparently our doo was better than hers!!!  We're all a friendly bunch so we're delighted she joined in!!

Well it's back to work last Tuesday, and sadly we had to say good by to Mick and Elaine who flew back to their life in Sydney :(
