Warmer Wednesday . . . .

Well I survived the the aftermath of Hurricaine Gonzalo whilst driving around Derbyshire yesterday, there were some terrific winds and rain yesterday.  I did experience a few hairy moments when a several large twigs and small branches came hairing  towards me and at one point my car was rocked by the wind was a bit disconcerting.  The high winds of yesterday and the debris that was flying around was enough for me so to experience a hurricane must be really terrifying!!

Sunday was the last day of our crafty retreat 😥.   Pam and I were sad to say good bye to all our fellow crafters until we meet again in 2015,

Below was the Sunday afternoon project, facilitated by 'crafty Lou'. I loved making this project and love how it looks.  It will become one of my favoured Christmas decoration and I can't wait to make some more using the same principles.  I was particularly pleased as I think this was the first Sunday afternoon project that I actually completed on the day!!! Yipee 🎅🎄🎄🎄

I've come back full of ideas for crafty projects and not all cards either.  I'm looking forward to decorating 2 different MDF advent calendars.  I've also some 3D hearts to complete.

Lesley! THIS IS WOW!!!! SO beautiful and I love all the different elements on here. So glad you had a great time too - and really glad you're safe after the hurricane!

Lovely project Lesley and yes, I am the same as you, I cannot imagine how terrifying it must be when taking the full force of a hurricane!
Unfirtunately I can't walk well enough nowadays to go traipsing around Twycross, but who know, maybe in the Spring...

Glad to read you made it through the tail end of Hurrican Gonzolo, it couldnt have been very nice driving in those conditions. Your crafty project looks stunning Lesley. x

A beautiful project Lesley :o)
I had to make sure I didn't go right up to the line with the pens to avoid bleeding. There was a little bit but with the grey shadow all around the images it was disguised!
Normally, I would use Memento ink on smooth card for stamping when using copics, but when printing them out that's not an option :o)
