I took some good photo’s at the end of September when we had a family day out to the Steam Gala at the Central Railway at Loughborough. Joe was then experimenting with different styles of printing and printed me a black a white copy of one of the pictures that I’d taken. I then decided to adapt it use some Frantage embossing enamel to enhance it & give it a Christmassy feel for my eldest grandson who is mad on trains and was so disappointed last year when he didn’t get a train themed card!
This was my first attempt using a green based Frantage embossing enamel and a Christmas style tree stamp from Penny Black. I did use some silver mirri card for matting and unfortunately using the flash when photographing it has made the edge a bit blurry.
I just wished I got a some chunky white or shabby white embossing enamel (2 for the new year craft shopping list!) as I think that would have given me some great effects on this card but one as the only white based one had got a hint of pink and I didn’t think that it would look right. I thoroughly enjoyed frantaging and can’t wait to do some more!!!

Lesley, this is sensational!!! Love the black and white print and the way you've embellished it is so pretty. I have some of the green frantage too but haven't used it yet.
